It had been roughly four months since the attack on South City and the defeat of Liari and since then, Athren had been taking it pretty easy. Aside from claiming the mountain for his own, he really hadn't been up to much and in fact, he was taking a well earned break. Though there had still been plenty to do in his life and goals to chase, he couldn't help but think that he earned it and with the line up of individuals trying to protect the Earth, he didn't have to stress too much about threats. There were people who could handle that kind of thing, even with Earth's greatest defender being off in space, there was little reason to worry.
Athren's training had declined rapidly, though he still did the few odd little things here and there to keep fit but for the most part, he just kept to himself and began creating a home for himself and those around who needed a roof over their head. Of course the primary purpose of the village was to house those crew members of his who he planned to wish back but all of those who needed shelter would be welcomed into his town and safe under his protection under few conditions. They had to be respectful and stay out of trouble, they couldn't conduct any military or faction business in the town and finally, they all had to chip in and help each other out and provide what they could for each other. That's all Athren had expected and he was doing his best to try to be a better person.
In the end, everything had been working out for him. He put countless hours into training to keep his children safe, to avoid having them put into harms way again and he had managed to pull it off. Not only did he manage to defeat the monster known as Liari but he kept the planet safe and the loss of life was rather minimal at that point. After months of Liari tormenting the Earth, seeking it's greatest warriors, Athren was the one to put her down. It was satisfying knowing that all his work had paid off, all his efforts were more than enough to do it but his next task after that, was more difficult in a way. Though it wasn't about fighting, it was about touching in on his demon side and embracing the magic he witnessed when he had finally had the battle with his father.
Though his demon heritage was relatively unknown to him, he was learning more and more about it throughout the years and the biggest thing that came to him through this was that his father was an ancient demon, hundreds of years old and an individual in the running to claim the demon realm for himself. The goal was to breed the perfect warrior to do his bidding but Athren's father simply underestimated Athren's own training. Pybara had given Athren the means to resist the mind control and the influence and Athren's saiyan side was just too determined to win, to push through and survive to continue pushing through his goals. Through this battle, Athren had witnessed his father use Magic Materialization to create quite a different set of weapons and items and with this knowledge in mind, Athren wanted to learn it and apply it.
Though learning something through instinct wasn't easy, bringing out something that was within him that he previously didn't know was there but he didn't have a choice, he needed to tap into this magical potential and wanted to use it to create his home. It had been weeks of training it, meditating on it, focusing on how to manipulate magic like he did his very own Ki. His goal was simple for the landscape of his home and village had been made, he just needed to start laying bricks and it would start that small.
With all his focus and understanding of the magic within himself, Athren had spent days trying to even create a brick out of thin air and this brick would be both the first one laid in his village and the first time he tapped into his magical abilities. Of course, it was going to be the first brick of his own home and the town would come later but finally, after further studies and more attempts Athren would wave out his hand and create a brick and lay it in place and once he managed that, the rest would come very simply. He would create brick after brick and lay them as he required, the work on the concrete foundations, the wooden frames for the walls, the drywall, all of it. As he continued to think about what was required to build a home, he was able to create it. It was all falling into place rather quickly.
The complicated part was more piecing everything together, understanding how to use the Magic to manipulate the structure and supports that he needed to provide himself with a stable home, one that could hold up to harsh weather and the environment. His house took about three weeks in total of trial and error and after that he had began to make the buildings in the town. Markets, stores and plenty of small houses where everybody could live on their own. This whole process had taken about two whole months to finish but by the end of it, Athren had a very good understanding of his Magic Materialization and he had created a home for himself and a village for those who needed it. With new housing, it didn't take long for new people to come and start living there. It wasn't packed, but about twenty people had moved into the town in a matter of a month or two. All that was left, was to protect the town and its people to the best of his ability, hopefully it was easy.

[ST1]Magic Materialization: Athren has further dipped into his demonic heritage and the use of Magic, with that he is able to Materialize items out of thin air. These items are really only limited to the imagination of the user. Whether it be weapons, food, water, clothing, decorations, furniture, buildings or structures. He is capable of pulling it off.
